This website's design is inspired by historic newspapers. Old newspapers used small & narrow font faces to fit as much information as possible in a limited space. It gave them the distinct visual with dense text. To imitate the design closely, I had to sacrifice the readability of the text here.

I have 5 years of experience in developing & delivering consumer web apps at scale. Although my expertise is in full stack web development with Typescript, I have also worked with other languages like Java and Python. I contribute to open source projects, so you can see examples of my work. Check out the highlights here.
My passion is to help the builders level up. Any of my past coworkers can attest to my trait of sharing my learnings with everyone and bringing growth to the team. People talk about how AI is a multiplier, but I believe a right person can be a way better multiplier than AI.
To pursue my passion, I have been organizing events for the local developer community. Mob Programming started as an online event to tackle 2023 Hacktoberfest, but I realized coding together is the most efficient way to grow my skills. I opened the event up for all types of projects, and now it has grown into a weekly in-person gathering to help the builders unblock each other.
I have also hosted many social events to help people in tech build new connections. This involved getting a sponsorship, handling the logistics, and managing the volunteering team.
If we end up working together, I will bring the years of experience, growth mindset, and people skills to the table.

If robotaxis become cheaper and more available, owning a car would make less sense as a means of everyday transportation. There are so many people who would love to not park their cars. I think the only reason those people drive is because it is cheaper to own a car than relying 100% on Uber.
I tried a waymo robotaxi for the first time. It annoyed other drivers and pedestrians on the street, but was functional regardless. I can see a future where the majority of the cars on road becomes robotaxis.

Just found out LinkedIn UX sucks with mobile user agent. Desktop user agent set to smaller screen size is much better.
Sad to see Kiwi browser getting discontinued. It has been my primary browser on Android. Today's browser scene is pretty shitty with the extension manifest v3 wreckage and Firefox going downhill. Before I switched to Kiwi, I had to try out a ton of browsers. Now I will do the same research but with much less hope.

After hours of fighting SELinux policies, secure boot, and kernel params, I finally gave up on hibernation on Fedora. Wiped the disk then installed Arch with secure boot off. Hibernation worked on the first go 🥲
It has been a while since I've done a Linux config grind session... It gives this weird masochistic pleasure, and btw I figured LLMs are not yet useful for this kind of troubleshooting.
I am liking elk.zone pwa so far. Much better experience than mastodon.social pwa on Android!
